Though there are several hundreds of nations all throughout the globe, it is essential that we as one human race come together to work in unison and strive towards a better world. International politics is a field that has made vast improvements and progressions throughout the years, and relations between nations are generally moving for the better and goodness of mankind. World politics can be an intricate and difficult system at times because of the many different perspectives of various nations however, there is an organization that has managed to simplify and assemble various issues pertaining to international politics. This organization, the United Nations (U.N.) is located in what many consider the greatest city in the world, New York City, the unparalleled archetype of world politics, world business, and a place where people from all around the world have come to settle and consider home. The United Nations serves as a place for all types of international issues, including world politics, to be discussed and settled in a civilized and fashionable manner. Not all countries throughout the world have opted to join the United Nations and participate in assemblies and conferences dealing with international politics, but there have been several notable improvements in relations between the various countries that are participants of the United Nation.

The importance of a fairly unified view on international politics is extremely essential to the health and prosperity of economies all around the world. A large aspect of the growth and progression of our society is due to the prosperity of world politics and stable relations between various nations. The true benefits and advantages of secure and stable international politics is clearly evident when two opposing countries are able to resolve conflicts and settle matters in a civilized manner. It does not take just one nation to fix all the problems of the issues regarding world politics rather it takes all different countries putting aside differences to work in unison for a more peaceful and safer world environment. Aside from a safer environment for all the people of the world to live in, virtuous international politics leads the way for all nations to be able to benefit from international trade. Without a sound system of world politics, trade and business overseas would become extremely difficult and even hostile at times. The health and wellbeing of many, many economies of varying nations rely heavily on a peaceful state of international politics.

Though the world community and society is far from perfect or even ideal, we as a human race have come a very long way in this lengthy and arduous journey of working together for a better world for future generations to come. There will always be more difficult trials and tribulations to come in the future, and in order for us as a people to overcome these obstacles and fight through troubled times, it is crucial for international politics to be on a unified state. Different nations of the globe will not always be able to agree on a particular subject matter however, an established and firm condition of world politics is key to keeping the peace.

There are many reasons why someone may want to volunteer to take part in a political campaign. This is a campaign that is increasing with recognition all across the country. Political campaigns of many different kinds are held in all different towns, cities, and states all over the United States in order to elect a certain political position. The most important of political campaign out of the many would have to be the national presidential election that is held for a time frame of many months. A specific time frame is not specified but it has the potential to last for multiple months on end. Even if you haven’t been a big part of any political movement as of yet, getting involved with one of the political campaigns that pertain to help getting your preferential candidate elected is not a bad idea. Republican Party.

Though there are differing opinions that Americans may have about certain controversial issues, republican values and morals are what paved the way for the people of the United States of America to be at the privileged position that we are in now. However, what many people do not know is that the Republican Party, as we know it today, was not officially established until the 1860’s when the renowned Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated into the Oval Office as the 16th President of the United States of America. Before then, the republican ideals were still in full effect, but the Republican Party was known as the Whig Party, which was then the main opposing political organization of the Democratic Party.

Even with all of the groundbreaking advancements and progressions that we as a society have witnessed, one principle factor has remained firm and steadfast in all societies and communities. Though there are opposing ideas and perspectives between the two major Republican Party and Democratic Party, the fundamental republican standards has withstood the test of time, and will remain unwavering for generations to come. It is no coincidence that the great republican nation in the world is also the greatest country to live in, to prosper and fulfill dreams and opportunities.

Republicans

For as long as the United States of America existed, we were, and still are, the greatest republican nation of all the nations in the world. The very basic foundation that the American government and political system is built upon is the very same principle that the original Republicans, sometimes referred to as the ‘Founding Fathers’ such as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, or James Madison had in mind when setting the building blocks of our great country. The principles and ideals have eventually paved the way for other prominent Republican figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, or Dwight Eisenhower. These buildings blocks have gradually become the permanent cornerstones that the great nation of the United States of America stands on today. The republican principles that allow the citizens of a country decide who is to govern them is a definite formula for the success and prosperity if any nation, economically, politically, and socially. It is not uncommon for countries that are considered republicans to be at a slight advantage over those countries who oppose republican ideas and democratic values. The quality of life for citizens of a republican nation is also somewhat more developed than other nations. This is due to the simple fact that a government with republican attitudes and ideals is more attentive and conscientious to the needs of the general public, the citizens who make the country so great. The republicans of America are not great because of the country rather the United States of America is great because of the republican nature of the people. As the late great former President John F. Kennedy once exclaimed, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”.

The basic principles of a republican nation are simple. Republicans believe that individual citizens, rather than the entire government entity, know what is best for the country and the people are entitled to the freedom of choice. One of the most important points about American government and politics is that no one individual is above the law, and that all citizens of this country are to be treated fairly and equally, no matter what race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. There is however, a fairly lengthy and extensive history behind the government and political system of United States, and it would be a great understatement to say that we as a society have endured and fought through several trials and tribulations to be at where we stand as a nation today. Though there will undoubtedly be more obstacles for Americans to overcome and withstand, there is neither hesitation nor doubt that our great nation will stand through anything. The patriotism and confidence that Americans exude is a healthy indication of just how powerful and influential a republican nation can be. Had it not been for the moral guidance and resolute stances of the original republicans, our country would be a very different place in our day and age.

Nation of Democracy

When the word democracy comes to mind, the most immediate association that most people make to a democrat is the United States of America. This is not only true within our great nation; rather it applies to citizens of all countries all throughout the globe. The United States of America is virtually synonymous with the term democracy and the description of a true democrat. Though America is known as the land of opportunity and the country where dreams come true, there are still those particular nations around the world that oppose democracy and frown upon the idea of becoming a democrat. It is not surprising to see that most of the citizens of these nations that antagonize democracy are not truly happy and could use significant improvements to their quality of life. Democracy is a means of running a government so that the people come first, and basic human rights are respected and upheld. A democrat, by nature, is an individual who tends to be more liberal and open minded, and in a sense, more understanding in regards to certain political and social issues that affect communities all around the world.

The American democracy is one of the main factors behind the desire of so many citizens of other nations to emigrate and come to the United States of America. There is substantial evidence from research and statistical data compiled globally to prove that a democrat nation is one that is more often than not more economically, socially, and politically stable, secure, and successful. More prosperous economies throughout different nations is a healthy indicator of international progress and advancements, not just as one nation, but as one race working together to continually advance and evolve. Keeping good relations internationally is essential for international trade and commerce, which is a field of business that is rapidly expanding and thriving on a daily basis. Without democracy, the flourishing international trade and relations would not be as strong and wealthy, maybe not even possible at all. International trade has actually been practiced for quite some time now, and it is obvious that there is real potential for vast improvements to all the economies who participate in international trade. Democracy is simply a means for each individual nation to truly form their own identity, yet be a part of the global movement that is changing how we think.

The United States of America was built on a cornerstone that guaranteed basic and inalienable rights to all of her citizens. There is no coincidence that a democrat nation such as America is quite possibly the greatest place to live in the world. There is always an exception and though some individuals may oppose the idea of America being the greatest nation to live in, there is no hiding the fact that virtually anything is possible in our land of opportunity with the right amount of dedication and passion. There is no other place in the world that you can say the same for, and this is what makes the democrat country of the United States of America so exceptional.

The right to vote is one of the many liberties that our great nation offers that may not be the case in many countries throughout the world. But again, the choice is completely up to the individual, and everybody is entitled to whichever political views they may choose.

In such a world that is constantly changing, progressing, and advancing, history is being written every day, and with each day that passes, one big name is forgotten and another is created. What was ‘known’ to be impossible a few decades ago is now an every day, normal commodity or practice in our day and age. What we think is ‘impossible’ today may be the next groundbreaking development that changes society tomorrow. The possibilities of the advancements of the human race are virtually endless. Though the world we live in today is so fast paced and rapidly advancing, the individuals who have helped us get to where we are now will always live on forever, survived by their achievements and contributions to the human race. Not surprisingly, many of the individuals’ names that will be forever etched into the history books are actually related to political issues, as the people who usually make the biggest impact on a nation are involved in the political, as well as social, aspects of any given community.

These individuals have made political and social contributions to their respective communities that have been felt throughout a number of societies through the world. A few of the names with a negative connotation are Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, and Adolf Hitler, and yet no matter how immoral and unethical their actions may have been, they were at one point successful in making a political impact that may have effected more than just their respective country.

American Politics

The American society enjoys freedoms and liberties that are not even fathomable by citizens of certain nations throughout the globe. Part of the reason behind the efficiency and greatness of the United States government and politic system is due to the simplicity of the system that keeps the rules and regulations in place, running smoothly and seamlessly. Laws and statutes are created and amended as needed by the legislative politic system, while the politic judicial branch of the government preserve and enforce these laws and statutes. The third and final subdivision, the executive branch of the government, oversees and supervises all aspects of the politic system. These three branches of the American government make up what is known as the ‘separation of powers’ model of governing a nation. Contrary to popular belief, the separation of powers system was not created nor started in the United States, rather, it was created by the Roman Empire in ancient Greece, and has been adopted and evolved over time.

The United States political system is divided into two major political parties, albeit there are several lesser known, more obscure political parties. In the world of politics however, recognition and positive publicity are key to gaining popularity and winning over voters and supporters. In most cases, the smaller and lesser known parties usually do not have a very large effect on the overall processes of American politics. The two chief parties that are nationally recognized are the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. A part of what makes the United States of America the greatest nation to live in is exemplified in the system of our politics. The freedom and liberty of being able to speak out and stand up for what you believe in, and being able to choose which side of politics you support may seem like an obvious and ordinary right for Americans, but there are several countries throughout the world that deprive their citizens of this basic right to choose. The phrase ‘majority rules’ is one that applies perfectly to our politics but the same cannot be said about many other nations. The fact that our land is built upon the foundation that guarantees those living on this land the right to decide what laws will govern them is the basic principle of the United States Constitution. And it is the same United States Constitution that promises all Americans that certain inalienable rights will not be taken away.

Some people may argue that the American politics and the government system are not perfect. Granted, they may not be perfect, but the United States politics system is exceedingly more proficient and efficient than those of many other nations around the world.
